Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This policy explains what data the Streetly application processes, what it uses it for, who it shares it with and what rights you have. It is written to be understood at first read.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Oscar Soler Bermudez (tax ID NIF 09401839Z), who provides Streetly. You can write to us at [email protected].

2. What data we process

AccountEmail address, name, preferred language and password.
Preferences and itinerariesDestination, dates, the interests you indicate and the routes you generate or save.
LocationOnly if you grant permission, to suggest nearby places. You can withdraw it at any time from your device or browser settings.
MicrophoneOnly when you use the voice translator and have granted permission.
PhotosThe ones you add to the travel album. They are stored on your device (and, where permitted, in your gallery). They are not uploaded to our servers.
Budget and saved tripsStored on your device.
ReviewsRating, comment, place and city that you publish. They are shown publicly with your first name and the initial of your surname, and are deleted if you delete your account.
Chat with StreetThe questions you type to the “Street” assistant are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to generate the reply. We do not link them to your profile or use them to train models; please do not type passwords or payment details. Street is an AI and can make mistakes.
SubscriptionsYour plan status (Blue or Blue+). Payment is handled by Google Play, the App Store or, on the web, Stripe through RevenueCat; we do not see your card details.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

  • Providing the service to you (creating your account, generating itineraries, translating, managing your subscription): performance of a contract.
  • Using location, microphone, camera or notifications: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Keeping the app secure and improving how it works: legitimate interest.

Cookies and storage on the website

The Streetly website uses strictly necessary cookies and local storage, which do not require your consent, although we inform you of them. We do not use advertising cookies or our own analytics cookies.

streetly_consentFirst-party cookie. Remembers that you have seen this notice. Lasts 180 days.
Local storage (streetly.*)Stores in your browser your language, theme, session, saved trips, budget and travel album photos. It does not leave your device, except for the session and the data you send to the API for the app to work.

Changing your choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy options button that Google shows on the page, or by clearing your browser cookies.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when requesting them. You can clear everything from the app settings or from your browser.

4. Who we share it with

For Streetly to work we rely on providers. We send each one only what is needed for its function:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, hosting of user accounts (email, name, encrypted password and profile data) and an intermediate server that connects the app with the other services and temporarily stores repeated responses (for example, places in an area) to be faster.
  • Google (Places, Geocoding and Cloud Translation): place search, destination lookup and translation of the texts you write in the translator.
  • Anthropic: generating itineraries and experience proposals from the destination, dates, your preferences and candidate places.
  • RevenueCat, Stripe, Google Play and the App Store: managing, charging and verifying subscriptions.
  • Booking partners: if you tap a booking link you leave Streetly and that platform processes your data under its own policy.

We do not sell your data and your account data is not used for advertising. Some providers may be outside the European Economic Area; in those cases they rely on the safeguards provided for by law (for example, standard contractual clauses).

5. How long we keep it

Your account data is kept for as long as you keep the account. You can delete it yourself in the app or on the web, under Profile → Delete my account (your account, profile and saved trips are removed from our servers), or ask us by writing to [email protected]. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: cancel it first in your store or with Manage subscription. Data stored only on your device (photos, budget, saved trips) disappears if you uninstall the app or clear its data from your device or browser settings.

6. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data by writing to [email protected]. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

7. Minors

Streetly is not directed at minors. If you believe a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we process your data, we will update this page and the date above. We will also notify you of important changes inside the app.
